PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE ABOVE MENTIONED GOVERNMENTAL BODY WILL MEET AT THE DATE, TIME AND PLACE SET OUT ABOVE.

 

THE TENTATIVE AGENDA FOR SAID MEETING IS AS FOLLOWS:

 

ROLL CALL:  Foster, Kaletka, Kranzler, Johnson, Reis, Rockabrand, and Sheehy

THIS NOTICE IS GIVEN PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 21, CODE OF IOWA AND THE LOCAL RULES OF SAID GOVERNMENTAL BODY.  POSTED:  June 7, 2024

 

MINUTES

President Janis Rockabrand called the Cresco Public Library Board meeting to order on June 10, 2024, at 5:30 PM in the CPL Program Room.  Board Members Tamra Foster, Trish Johnson, Joe Kaletka, Pam Kranzler, Kay Reis, Janis Rockabrand and Bryan Sheehy were present.

 

Guests in attendance were Jordyn Moore (Library Director), Cathy Meinecke and Megan Nelson (library board applicants and members from the public).

 

Kranzler made the motion to approve the agenda, approve the claims, and approve the modified minutes from the May 13, 2024 Cresco Public Library Board meeting. Rockabrand seconded and approval of recurring items passed with all ayes.

 

Foster made the motion to approve Megan Nelson as a new member of the Library Board to replace Janis Rockabrand for a three-year term. Reis seconded and motion passed with all ayes.

 

Reis made the motion to reappoint Tamra Foster to the Library Board for a three-year term. Kranzler seconded and motion passed with all ayes.

 

Foster made the motion to approve Kay Reis as the Library Board President to replace Janis Rockabrand for the FY24/25.  Kranzler seconded and the motion passed with all eyes.

 

Reis made the motion to approve Pam Kranzler as the vice-president of the Library Board. Sheehy seconded and the motion passed.

 

Reis made the motion to approve Tamra (Tami) Foster as the Library Board secretary. Kranzler seconded and motion passed with all ayes.

 

Sheehy made the motion to approve all elections of officers. Reis seconded and motion passed with all ayes.

 

Sheehy moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:07 PM.  Kranzler seconded and the motion passed with all ayes.  The next regular Cresco Public Library Board meeting will be Monday, July 8, 2024 at 5:30 PM in the CPL Program Room.
