PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE ABOVE MENTIONED
GOVERNMENTAL BODY WILL MEET AT THE DATE, TIME AND PLACE SET OUT ABOVE. THE TENTATIVE AGENDA FOR SAID MEETING IS AS FOLLOWS:

MINUTES
Mayor Fortune called the Cresco City Council meeting to order on December 3, 2024 at 12:30 pm. Council Members Carman, Fosaaen, Bouska, McConnell, and Kriener were present. No council members were absent.
Council met with each Department Head to receive their budget requests for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. Each department discussed current and future projects, as well as their needs for future equipment purchases.
Council will consider all of the requests and will meet at a future date to look at the budget for the City as a whole. Depending on the projected revenues and expenses, Council will then decide what projects and equipment purchases can be completed in the next budget.
Council discussed certification requirements for public works staff. Brenno will follow up with the Iowa DNR to get more information on testing requirements for Water and Wastewater Certifications.
Kriener moved to adjourn the Council Meeting at 5:46 pm. Bouska seconded and it passed all ayes. The next regular Cresco City Council meeting will be December 16, 2024, at 5:30 pm at Cresco City Hall.
