MINUTES

Cresco Theatre Commission

President David Gosch called the meeting to order on February 26th, 2024, at 6:45 PM.  In attendance were:  David Gosch,  Steve Lickteig,  Ann Seebach, Kelly Bartling, and Julie Wilson.   Kari Waterbeck  was unable to attend.   Guests:  Wendy Lickteig, Cresco Theatre Manager,  Joe Wacha, Cresco Community Theatre, and Stan Fosaaen,  City Council.

Old Business:

  1. Wendy Lickteig shared wage history and current wages.  After the Commission evaluated these, Wendy was asked to prepare projected costs with potential raises in mind.  The Commission will make a decision on wage increases at the next meeting on March 11th, 2024.
  2. The Scene Shop Project was discussed.  The Commission will be meeting with the architect on February 29th, 2024, at 5:00 in Champlin Hall, and will be allowed to ask questions.

New Business:

  1. Next meeting date:  March 11th, 2024

Comments:

  1. Community Theatre-Joe Wacha reported that CCT is upgrading the lights. CCT members will be present for the next free matinee on March 24th.
