Minutes
Vice President Kay Reis called the Cresco Public Library Board meeting to order on May 8, 2023, at 5:33 PM in the CPL Program Room. Board Members Joe Kaletka, Mark Kissinger, Christine Lueschow, Felicia Pecinovsky, and Kay Reis were present. Board President Janis Rockabrand was absent. Vice President Kay Reis presided over the meeting.
Guests in attendance were Jordyn Moore (Library Director), Jan Carmen (City Council), and individuals from the public.
Kaletka made the motion to approve the agenda, approve the claims, and approve the minutes from the April 3, 2023 Cresco Public Library Board meeting with an amendment to list Board Member Pecinovsky as present in the April 3, 2023 Cresco Public Library Board meeting minutes. Kissinger seconded and approval of recurring items with amendment passed with all ayes.
Kissinger moved to approve the 2023/2024 fiscal year full-time (FT) and part-time (PT) staff wages as presented, which includes a three percent increase in July 2023 and a three percent increase in January 2024. Pecinovsky seconded and the motion passed with all ayes. The following table lists the pay rate details for each individual staff member:

Kaletka moved to approve the replacement of a hot spot for $66. Pecinovsky seconded and the motion passed with all ayes.
Kissinger moved to adjourn the meeting at 5:56 PM. Kaletka seconded and the motion passed with all ayes. The next regular Cresco Public Library Board meeting will be Monday, June 12, 2023 at 5:30 PM in the CPL Program Room.
