MINUTES

CRESCO AIRPORT COMMISSION MEETING 10/9/24

Jerry called meeting to order at 5:17 pm

Roll Call… Present… Jerry Ferrie, Clair Pecinovsky, Rick Sovereign, Ross Merritt

Absent… Bryan Schmitt

Visitors… Rich McConnell, councilman

Jerry called for motion to approve agenda… 1st Clair, & 2nd Rick.. all approved. for motion to approve minutes… 1st Rick, & 2nd Clair… all approved.

for motion to approve financials & expenses… 1st Rick, & 2nd Ross… all approved.

New Business:

  1. Clair reported that the runway repairs were nearing completion. Runway should be open for use again in a day or two after F.A.A notification. Contractors did good work.
  2. Commission worked on items in the 5 year plan toward airport maintenance & improvements. The 2025 budget was then worked on with some changes and adjustments made due to costs always going up.
  3. It was noted that the pile of material left from the holding pond project is slowly going down.
