MINUTES

Scene Shop Fundraising Meeting Minutes
The group met December 11th, 2023, at 6:30 at Champlin Hall. Those in attendance were representatives of Cresco Community Theatre, Cresco Theatre Commission, Cresco Chamber and included Spiff Slifka, Jason Passmore, Aaron Hvitved, Jayne Jensen, Joe Wacha, Wendy Lickteig, Dave Gosch, Ann Seebach, Kari Waterbeck, and Julie Wilson.
The architect has confirmed that the drawings for the Scene Shop will be completed by Christmas. It is hoped that the campaign kickoff could occur the week of January 8th, 2024. Plans for handling social media, newspaper articles, radio interviews, and Chamber Newsletter were discussed. Dan Evans will be contacted about the articles for the paper, and Dean Lickteig will be contacted about doing interviews for the radio. At the next meeting, we will divide up individuals and businesses to contact. Naming Rights, Giving Levels, Pledge/Donor Cards, and Fundraising Ideas were reviewed.
The group will meet again on January 8th, 2024, 6:30 PM at Champlin Hall.
