2024 5th & 6th Nature Camp (Water World)

Program Description

Calling all water enthusiasts! This brand new camp features three action-packed days exploring and navigating Vernon Springs and the Upper Iowa River. Each day will include kayaking, exploring, and learning about our local waterways. We strongly encourage participants to be comfortable in the water and able to swim. Participants should wear swim attire and water shoes each day. It is recommended that each participant also brings a water bottle, towel, and wear bug spray/sunscreen. We will provide kayaks and life jackets. You may bring your own life jacket if you have one!

       

Program Schedule

  • Grades 5-6 (24-25) T-W-TH July 9-11     12:30-2:30 pm
  • July 12 = rain/make up day
  • MINIMUM OF 10 PARTICIPANTS NEEDED. MAXIMUM OF 20 PARTICIPANTS (First to sign up, first in)
  • Fee includes $30 kayak rental
