2025 3rd & 4th Nature Camp (Mother Nature’s Magic)

Program Description

Calling all nature lovers! This camp is a collaboration between the Howard County Conservation Department and Cresco Park and Rec.  Each day we will look a little closer at some of the “magic” Mother Nature works. We will investigate the “mastery” nature uses to make soil, the “ritual” plants perform to make the “potion” they rely on for food, and the “wizardry” they harness to ensure there will be future plants.

Participants must wear pants on July 8th and need to wear sturdy footwear allowing them to walk, hike, and run for all 3 days. Participants should also apply sunscreen, bug spray, and bring a full water bottle each day. Camp will be held rain or shine. In case of inclement weather, we will use Friday, July 11th as a make-up day!
